Climate finance is a critical lever for sustainable development in Africa, a continent disproportionately affected by climate change despite contributing the least to global emissions. The urgent need for adaptation and resilience measures—ranging from climate-smart agriculture to renewable energy infrastructure—requires substantial financial support that far exceeds current public and private sector flows. However, challenges such as weak institutional capacity, fragmented policy frameworks, limited access to international finance, and insufficient data transparency continue to hamper progress. In this context, the creation of a dedicated platform to review climate finance policies, innovations, and updates is essential. Such a hub would foster knowledge sharing, improve coordination among stakeholders, track implementation progress, and support evidence-based policymaking to accelerate climate-resilient growth across the continent.

Our Vision

To be Africa’s leading platform for advancing climate finance transparency, innovation, and policy alignment, enabling a resilient, low-carbon future for communities across the continent.

Our vision

Our mission is to empower policymakers, investors, civil society, and the private sector with timely, credible, and actionable insights on climate finance in Africa. Through rigorous policy reviews, innovative solution tracking, and stakeholder engagement, we aim to bridge the information gap, promote accountability, and catalyze sustainable investment for Africa’s green transition.
